Hotel Xa´an

A biophilic boutique hotel immersed in 80 hectares of Yucatán jungle, organized in three phases — administrative, amenities and rest — around a cenote. Every piece speaks to its surroundings: the Xí’im restaurant (“corn” in Maya) in wood, thatch and bamboo; the lobby in rammed earth and chukum; spherical suites raised over a natural pool; and the K’atun amphitheater-forum sunk into the vegetation.
